Matsuhato: In addition to our own Specialty Threads, we have access to hundreds of shades of embroidery floss, perle and metallic threads when re-creating our expanding selection of Matsuhato designs. We source from known and trusted makers, Cosmo & DMC for threads and prefer to use Japanese made Chenille Needles. Even though the Bunka yarn colours for Matsuhato are no longer available, we think the vast colour choice of Perle and Floss is stunning.
Our new needlework fabrics work beautifully with our entire line of traditional hand embroidery, needle painting and punch embroidery. We use premium European fabrics in solid colours, plus we have created a lovely new Sparkle Cloth, available in several pastel colours.
Hand Embroidery Kits Include: Embroidery threads (floss, perle cotton, specialty threads, etc), stamped fabric, colour picture and diagram for reference, stitch guide showing colour placement, basic instructions for most common embroidery stitches.
Our Needle Painting kits are designed as decorative art, not as utilitarian projects (pillows, clothing).
